Workday for Employees


Welcome to Workday!

On Sunday, September 24, 2017, we launched Workday for all employees.

Workday is RHA's new core system for anything related to you, our employees.  Our end-in-mind is to give you a better tool and insight for common tasks that can be performed on any modern device with an internet connection.

  • Log into Workday
  • Update Personal Information - Name, mailing address, emergency contacts, or add a photo!
  • Time - Enter Time Worked / Submit for approval
  • Pay - View payslips, add/remove bank accounts for direct deposit, or adjust the payment mix to up to two bank accounts.
  • Mileage - Submit mileage to your manager for reimbursement
  • Absence - Request PTO from your manager, and initiate more complex leave events like FMLA requests.

Log into Workday






Onboarding

New employees will be directed to the Onboarding worklet.

In essence, this walks a new hire through the first things they need to do in Workday.

New employees will be given onboarding 'to do' tasks upon hire.

Includes:
  • A message from your manager
  • Helpful contacts
  • Kicks of the remaining onboarding tasks you need to do.
BE SURE TO COMPLETE ALL TASKS IN YOUR WORKDAY INBOX!



Personal Information

In the 'Personal Information' worklet, you can:
  • Update your personal contact information
  • Update your work contact information, which will also be fed to our Outlook email system.
  • Add Emergency Contact
  • Add photo
  • Verify legal name
  • Add a preferred first name

Note:
It is VERY important that you keep this information current.



Time
The Time worklet is mostly for hourly employees, but is also where mileage is submitted (see further below).

In Workday, you can:
  • View your Work Schedule
  • Clock in/out via the 'Check in' and 'Check out' on a daily basis.  MOST HOURLY EMPLOYEES SHOULD CLOCK IN/OUT IN REAL TIME
  • Enter blocks of time worked - ONLY FOR EMPLOYEES THAT HAVE BEEN GIVEN APPROVAL
  • Submit hours to your manager for approval, on a weekly basis.  Salaried employees do not submit time worked.

Note:
  • RHA wants to pay you for all time worked
  • It is your responsibility to 'check in' and 'check out' of your shifts, and approve your time sheet on a weekly basis

Pay

You now have more access to view your pay and make changes in your direct deposit.

In Workday, you can:

View payslips and change direct deposit info





Submit Mileage in Time
  • You will submit mileage to your manager in Workday.
  • To specifically qualify, you must drive a personal vehicle (and pay the associated fuel costs) for approved company business.

Absence (PTO)
  • You will now be initiating all absence requests in Workday.
  • The most common way you'll use this is to request paid time off (PTO) from your manager.
  • Absence is also used to initiate more complex leave events like FMLA requests.

Please complete the following by Friday, October 6th.

In the ‘Personal Information’ Worklet: 
  • Update Home and Work contact information (including phone and email) 
  • Review and update other Personal Information 
  • Add Emergency Contact 
  • Add photo 
  • Verify Legal Name 
  • Add Preferred name
In the ‘Pay’ Worklet: 
  • Verify tax Withholding elections 
  • Verify/update Payment Elections for a max. of two bank accounts.
  • View Pay slip
