Workday Rollout Timeline

RHA is rolling out Workday to our organization.
Different functionality will become available between Sept 20 - Oct 8th.

See below for a quick timeline of 'what-happens-when'.

Employees should always contact their local Workday Ambassador first with any questions.

September 20-23
  • Our main goal 9-20-23 is to ensure employees can log into Workday
  • Managers were given access to Workday Wednesday, Sept 20
  • All employees were given access to Workday Thursday, Sept 21
  • Check out the 'How to Login to Workday' instructions and Download the Workday App webpage.
  • For now, please only complete the tasks assigned to you in your Workday Inbox! 
  • HOURLY EMPLOYEES SHOULD CONTINUE TO CLOCK IN/OUT IN EITHER TIMECLOCK OR ECLIPSE THROUGH SATURDAY, SEPT 23RD.

September 24-30
  • Employees may begin using Workday to record time worked at/after 12:00am, Sunday, September 24th
  • PTO Balances won’t be available in Workday until Friday, 9/29. The reason is we need to let the final payroll run in our old system so accurate employee PTO balances can be transferred to Workday.  Employees that have approved PTO may still take the time, but will need to re-submit any PTO requests that occur September 24th or after.
  • HR will be holding training for those in certain Workday roles at your unit.  These people will receive a direct invitation to these trainings.

October 1-7
  • Hourly Employees need to submit their weekly time to their manager EVERY WEEK BY NOON ON MONDAY (EASTERN) - Help Guide
  • The first employee weekly time-sheet submission deadline (via Workday) is Monday, Oct. 2 at Noon Eastern.
  • The first manager deadline for approving their employee's time-sheet (via Workday) is Tuesday, Oct. 3rd at Noon Eastern.

October 8 >>>>
  • Phase 1 of our Workday deployment will be fully functional.
  • Additional functionality like Talent Management, Succession Planning, Learning and Benefits will roll out through Spring 2018
