Workday Downtime

Workday Downtime This Weekend
Workday will be unavailable from Friday, July 13 at 10pm Eastern > Monday, July 16 at 1am Eastern.

The reason for this downtime is the migration of systems related to the Workday Financials deployment on July 16th.

This Will Impact Any/all Access to Workday, Including:
  • Timekeeping
  • PTO requests & approvals
  • Recruiting
  • Onboarding
  • Staff Schedules
  • All other Workday-related activities

TIMEKEEPING IMPACT

Ensure All Time is Captured
  • Employees will need to manually capture time worked during downtime, then enter into Workday by noon on Monday.
  • Employees, Managers, and unit Timekeepers Pay special attention to ensure all time worked is captured and accurate, as Payroll will run on Wednesday, July 18 for the July 23rd paycheck.

Normal Time Submission Deadlines Remain
The Monday, July 16 Noon Eastern time deadline for an employee to submit accurate time in Workday remains.

Working Shifts Into/Out of Downtime
Pay specific attention to employees that may start a shift clocking into Workday, but will be unable to clock out due to downtime.

Pay Attention to Next Pay Period Too!
Since the weekend spans over two pay periods (Sunday midnight cutoff), please plan to ensure time is accurate for the pay period ending July 28th Too!
