You have been identified by your Vice President to serve as a Workday Ambassador for your unit!

What is Workday?

  • Workday is a modern, cloud-based software system that works on computers, phones or tablets.
  • Workday will initially be our Recruiting, Onboarding, Timekeeping, Payroll and Absence-management system.  More functionality will come regarding talent management, learning, benefits and more.
  • Initial systems/processes that will be replaced include: CareerBuilder, Intellicorp background checks, New Hire Packets, Timekeeping in TimeClock Plus OR Eclipse, paper PTO requests, and Ceridian.
  • Our Go-Live is scheduled for the later half of September.

What is a Workday Ambassador?

The Workday Ambassador will be the local trainer and go-to person for all things Workday.

In this role, we will ask you to participate in webinars and in-person training to introduce you to Workday.  Attendance in a full-day Workday Ambassador training in your region is required.  Then, you will return to your unit to train your local employees and supervisors in how they’ll use Workday before we Go-Live.

As an Ambassador, you will have access to pre-developed Presentations, videos and training manuals for employees and managers.

Ongoing Workday Support

Employees should connect with their business office with any Workday questions.

Talk with your Director/Administrator, Business Manager or HR Coordinator, who typically have the 'HR PARTNER' role in Workday.
