Nurses Week 2017 - May 6-12

I want to take a moment and thank each one of you for the care that you provide to the people we support!  Your dedication, compassion, and hard work does not go unnoticed.

The Theme for Nurses Week 2017 is “Nursing: The Balance of Mind, Body, and Spirit.”

As nurses we often are so busy taking care of others that we neglect ourselves.  Many of your administrators have shared ideas of how they intend to help celebrate Nurses Week.  I hope that you enjoy your special treats and events this week. Thank you for all that you do for RHA and for me!  I could not ask for a better group of nurses to work with.

In honor of nurses week, RHA will have a drawing for free memberships to the Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association.  One of the many benefits of being a DDNA member is the free continuing education programs offered.  The winners will be announced on Friday.   So stay tuned!!!!

Once again, I hope that you have a wonderful week.   Thank you for choosing to share your talents and skills at RHA.   Happy Nurses Week 2017!
