RHA’s The 7 Habits for Managers® program focuses on using the timeless principles of the 7 Habits to increase our personal and professional effectiveness.

All RHA leaders are being asked to attend, to ensure we can share a common operating philosophy across all parts of RHA.

As of Fall 2018, over 750 RHA managers have attended.

Note:  A new manager training is being developed for our IDD Home Managers,  If you work in IDD, please verify permission to attend this program with your leadership before registering.

Who Should Register & Attend?

  • New RHA supervisors
  • Every person at RHA that supervises another (Except Home Managers, a separate training is being developed for you).
  • HR Coordinators
  • High-potential employees that are recommended by their supervisor.
Registration Information
  • Attendees should register for themselves
  • Attendees should get clearance to attend from their operational leadership.
  • The 2-day program runs from 8:30am-5pm each day
  • We work to spread training locations through RHA's footprint, so at least one program is withing a couple hours of your worksite.

Unit Responsibilities:
    • Register for a session near you
    • Coordinate with your Unit regarding coverage while you are at training.
    • Book Hotel Room (if needed)
    • Breakfast and Dinner
    • Travel Expenses
    • Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the start time to ensure parking and acclimation to the space.
Corporate Responsibilities:
    • Plans and coordinates all training, materials and meeting space.
    • Will provide lunch, snacks and drinks during the day

Why are all RHA Leaders Invited?

Every day, we go to work to make life better for the people we serve and support. RHA wants to support you in the important work your team does on a daily basis. That is why RHA is expanding our leadership development efforts. Our goal is to incorporate a common culture, language and operating system of effectiveness where we all are engaged and on the same page.

Who is attending the 7 Habits for Managers?

Over 850 RHA managers and high-potential staff RHA have attended a 7 Habits program since 2012.

Administrators and Directors that have attended the previous 7 Habits Signature Program® are asked to attend at least one The 7 Habits for Managers® workshop with their team.

Are Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) and/or Contact Hours available?

Yes. To receive credit, you must sign in every day of the training, and provide your email address on the roster form. Your certificate will be emailed to you.
