Need a W-2 From 2016 or a Previous Year?
2017 W-2s
  • 2017 W-2s will be available via Workday by the end of January 2018.
  • Current employees can login to Workday to view and download their 2017 W-2
  • Former employees (Active 9/24/17 or later) still have limited access to Workday, and will be able to access their 2017 W-2s in Workday.
  • Former employees who's employment with RHA ended January 1-Sept 23, 2017 will receive their W-2s via mail.

1099s will be sent to contract workers by the end of January each year.


1095-C Form, Explained
  • RHA will meet the requirement to deliver the 1095-C tax forms to employees by March 1st, 2017.
  • This form covers Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage information that proves to the IRS that you had health insurance through RHA in the last tax year.
Do You Need the 1095-C Before Doing Your Taxes?

Many employees are asking about the tax forms, so we received the following statement from our legal counsel with our brokers Lockton Companies:
  • See note from RHA's Benefits Broker regarding the IRS modified language indicating "Individuals Need Not Report Health Coverage Status on 2016 Tax Returns"
  • The IRS has indicated that you do not need to include the 1095-C to file taxes for 2015 or 2016.
  • You can use a good faith determination to report the health coverage you had in place for yourself and you dependents.
  • You will need to keep a copy of the 1095-C form, once received, as proof, in case you are later audited.
  • Employers have been given an extension to issue the forms; therefore, many employees may not have the forms when they first wish to file their tax returns. 
What is a 1095-C Form?
The 1095-C form is an annual statement provided to all benefit eligible employees to outline the details of health coverage for the tax reporting year. 

Why do I need a 1095-C Form when filing my taxes? 
The 1095-C form is used in determining the eligibility of employees for the premium tax credit and/or used to verify that employees are covered under a minimum essential coverage plan with their employer and therefore not liable for the individual fine for not being covered during those months they are enrolled.  

Why did I receive two 1095-C Forms for 2015?
Due to our company’s transition, you will receive a 1095-C form for your health coverage in the old company and a 1095-C form for your health coverage in the new company (in November and December 2015)

When should I expect to receive my 1095-C forms?
We have partnered with Equifax to complete our ACA management and forms fulfillment.  The 1095-C forms will be printed and mailed before the extended deadline of March 31, 2015.



How do I verify my RHA employment, salary and work history?

RHA uses The Work Number for employment, salary & work history verification.

How it works... 

Need proof of employment or income?

Give the person needing proof of your employment the following information:
  • Your Social Security Number
  • RHA's Employer Code: 15242

Need to create a Salary Key?

A salary key is one form of employee authorization used to release income.
If a verifier is requesting a salary key from you, please take the following steps:
  1. The Work Number access options for employees: www.theworknumber.com or 1-800-367-2884
  2. Select “I’m an Employee”
  3. Select “Enter Site”
  4. Enter the Employer Code (15242) and select “Log In”
  5. Select “I want to provide proof of employment and income”
  6. Enter your User ID and select “Continue”
  7. Enter your PIN and select “Log in” - employer to provide PIN scheme
  8. Select “Create a Salary Key”
  9. Select “Create Another Salary Key”
  10. Write down the six-digit number ______________
Provide the person requesting the salary key with the following information:
  • Your Social Security Number
  • Employer: RHA
  • Employer Code: 15242
  • Your salary key
